Handcrafted in Vermont from natural hardwoods, this panel bed is a timeless addition to a healthy bedroom. Choose from cherry, maple, or walnut, and the piece is handcrafted to your selection with a natural hand-rubbed finish. The bed features double panels at the end, with grain and color flowing seamlessly across the panels in a landscape panorama for a cohesive, organic look.
Designed for simplicity and durability, the bed uses a superb platform that eliminates the need for a box spring (though it can be made in that style). It includes ten wide slats that interlock with hardwood dowels on the side rails, and heavy-duty cast hangers join the rails to the head and footboards. King and California King sizes include center-reinforced support via a strong hardwood piece that attaches to the head and foot boards, providing full access to under-bed space without a center leg. All beds are handmade in Vermont with a natural, hand-rubbed finish and no VOCs.
